Around the world in 30 days.

This is a map of my summer vacation. My family and I started at our house (obviously). You can see our house in the map with a red car in the driveway, a shed in the yard, mountains in the background and the house is yellow with a gray roof. If you follow the road you will get to my cousins house. They have a tree in the front yard and a red house with a black roof, they also have a little deck on the front of the house. My Aunty Laura and Uncle Mike are coming to meet my family and our cousins, because our cousins were visiting our house with grandma and grandpa. Then, if you turn around and go on the furthest road right you will be at the swimming pool on the way there me and my cousin Michael raced each other on Mariokart. It's a DS game. When we were at the pool we played lots of fun games and had lots of fun. There's a picture of me playing with my cousins in the pool. We're either giving each other high fives, or waving at each other. The next road over, the second to most right, leads to my Aunty Bonnie's and Uncle Justin's house. It's a duplex with yellow walls and a gray roof. This picture has me holding Paxton, my one year old cousin. My Aunty Bonnie is coming to us and my Uncle Justin is also coming to us. The very middle road leads to my Grandma and Grandpa Moulton's house. It's right next to Lake Michagin. In the picture we're all swimming in the lake. The next road goes to Grandma and Grandpa Lamsons house. It is in a very pretty neighborhood.  The picture shows us siting on the couch together all hugging. All and all it was a great vacation and I had lots of fun with lots of my family.
I hope that they had as much fun as I did.

Girler who loves to pearler.

I think pearlering is very fun because you can make so many things, there's like no limit! I like making normal horses and magical horses and tigers and people and princesses. When I'm done making them I like to play with them. The princesses and people can fit on the horses. It's hard to get all the bead you need. Lots of time you run out of colors you want. We run out of black and brown and white the fastest. One time we were playing them and Rowan got a hold of Ivy's and broke it in half. I said, "Oh, sissy's gonna be mad," to him. He just laughed, and then mommy helped us fix it. When I'm bored, there's always pearler beads. They are very fun and I'm glad we have them. I've gotten others hooked on them too!

Daddy-Daughter Date.

My daddy and I have been planning a date for a very long time. First I had to wait while everyone else had their dates first. Then, I got sick on my turn! And then my dad had finals, and then our basement flooded! And so finally, I got to go on a daddy-daughter date. No date would be quite like this one: with coffee and a scone, and then bows and arrows and a gun...then we rode some horses for an hour up the mountain, and then we got to have lunch at Cheesy Lee's in Estes Park, and last we went to sporting good stores.

It's different going just with daddy because you get to do special stuff and it's quieter. I'm always used to doing stuff with brothers and sisters. If I were to plan a date, I might choose swimming. And going to a pet store. When I'm sad, my daddy knows how to calm me down. He plays with us. I really love my daddy and I'm glad that we got to go on a daddy-daughter date together.

P.S. Grandma Dottie, if you are seeing these pictures, don't freak out. :)

Marian.

I made this girl to be a lord and a lady's daughter. She doesn't really care what she wears, but of course her mother isn't okay with it. She still tries to wear clothes that are pretty simple. Her mother has to agree with it first though. She's always very happy and has a good time each day.

Horses.

I created these horses to be beautiful and wild. Horses symbolize freedom. They move gracefully. Last Monday my dad took me riding. We rode up a mountain. My horse felt like a jiggely paint machine under me. (I'm over exaggerating.) She was naughty and wouldn't stop eating grass on the trail. I guess she wanted to be independent. Independence sometimes means America being free, but other times it can mean something bad can happen if you are by yourself. I was inspired to draw these horses after reading Eragon.
